The Kokotto Comeback was born out of open jam sessions during Josh Lawson's 2021 Thursday night residency at North 2nd Tap & Bottle Shop in Hamilton, Ohio, the project quickly took on a life of its own. Fronted by Josh Lawson (vocals and guitar), this four-piece rock outfit also features James Bown on drums, John Ecenrode on bass, and Sean Jenkins on lead guitar.

Blended heavy with blues, country, and soul influences, The Kokotto Comeback delivers a good old-fashioned rock show, alive with grit, groove, and passion. Their sound is like an old steam locomotive riding the rails to nowhere — driving rhythms, soulful melodies, and lyrics that cut straight to the bone.
